Estate

Bob & Anne Arns
Anne and Bob Arns envisioned a small family wine estate focusing on Bordeaux varietals over 40 years ago. With a keen interest in wine, they were inspired by the famous Judgment of Paris tasting that took place in 1976, when California wines triumphed over French counterparts. In 1998, they purchased their Napa Valley property and planted 15 acres the following year. They have a passion for sharing food and wine with friends and family.

Winemaking

Ken Bernards
Ken Bernards is widely acknowledged to be one of California’s visionary winemakers. Since his first harvest in 1986, Ken has remained on the leading edge of winemaking technique in California, using scientific experimentation in the vineyards and in the winery, while at the same time adhering to traditional, artisanal methods of winemaking. He has made wine for the Arns since the first harvest of 2002 and is always striving to allow vineyard character to be expressed through Tournesol wines.
